Innovata opens its doors
Founded by Jason Fox on 25+ years of hands-on data and analytics experience, Innovata started as an independent consultancy with a focus that still defines us: senior expertise, personally delivered. The first engagements set the tone — turning messy, hard-to-reach data into information leaders could actually trust.
The early years
A reputation for trusted analytics
We built a name doing the unglamorous work well — modern BI on platforms like Power BI and Spotfire, giving operations, finance, and leadership teams daily visibility they'd never had before. Client by client, across energy, healthcare, staffing, and beyond, "a trusted partner for anything data-related" became a phrase we heard back more than once.

As clients grew and their stakes rose, so did the work — enterprise platform modernization, data governance, disaster recovery, and transaction-readiness for organizations like Exxon, Pioneer Natural Resources, Paychex, and Excellus BCBS. Analytics that started as dashboards became the foundations businesses ran on.
